Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Kieran Innes, an 18 year old web designer & developer from Berwick Upon Tweed, Northumberland, UK.
What Did I Do?
I use to create visually stunning, highly accessible websites for clients all around the world, as a freelance web designer and developer.
What Do I Do Now?
I'm currently employed by Internet Search Marketing as an Operations Executive, dealing with clients, design work, microsites and affiliate marketing.
What Do I Know?
I'm highly proficient in the usage of HTML (to a strict XHTML compliance) and CSS in front-end web development. For back-end development I prefer the usage of Non-OOP (Object Orientated Programming) PHP along side MySQL Databases.
Where Did I Start?
I learned my skills from the Internet. I'm a completeley self-taught (no formal teaching) web developer. W3Schools taught me the basics, but I really wanted to know more; that's where the millions of great blogs and tutorial websites from around the globe came in handy - guiding me on my way.
When Did I Start?
I've been developing and designing websites for over 5 years now. From my humble starts using table-based static designs, to my current proficiency in table-less, dynamic, content driven websites.
Why Did I Start?
It all stemmed from a curiosity of how great websites were made; I really wanted to know how to do it, so I went out their and found out.
Where Do I Go From Here?
I'm always eager to learn; I hunger for more knowledge on how to hone, express and expand my skillset. I'm always looking for the right oppertunity to do so and I believe I've found it with iSM.
What Can I Do For You?
Sadly, nothing at this moment in time. I'm in full-time employment and feel that I must concentrate on that for the foreseeable future.
